Fake Doors are an immobile yet still dangerous foe in Luigi's Mansion. Fake Doors are scattered throughout the game and every time the player opens one: Luigi gets smacked in the face by the door. Despite perfectly blending in with normal doors, there are 2 ways to detect one.

- Using the fire element on one will instantly burn it.
- Real doors shake when using the vacuum near one.
